Located just steps from the world-famous Apollo Theater, on the third floor of the Adam Clayton Powell State Office Building, this center leads multiple lives. By day, it is a secluded, bright, airy cafeteria, offering the public low-cost breakfast, lunch and dinner Monday through Friday from 8am to 9pm. It then becomes a pulsating nightlife spot, presenting the ever-popular Salsa Night weekly, jazz performances and other African-American cultural events. It is also available for weddings, dinners, receptions, parties and other catered private social events and is Harlem’s venue of choice for press conferences and political gatherings.
