The Winter Garden was originally built to be a horse exchange in 1896. By 1911 it was converted into a theater, and has also had a couple of stints as a movie venue. Its longest-running show was Andrew Lloyd Webber’s Cats, from 1982 to 2000.

Recommended for kids ages 8 and up, this Broadway version of the popular Jack Black movie stars real-life kids (some who attend the actual School of Rock) who were chosen from casting calls all over the country. The musical is produced by Andrew Lloyd Webber, who also composed 14 new songs for the show's score.
