Japanese comfort food prepared by Akihiro Moroto, who trained in French restaurants, is the draw here. His ramen is so good you'll want to bury your face in your bowl. The signature Zuzu Ramen is steamy and smoky, with sliced roast pork, slow-cooked egg, bamboo shoots and seasonal vegetables in dashi broth. The seaweed salad with mesclun greens and cherry tomatoes is also sublime, as is the sake list. The tight quarters means there's often a wait for a stool at the small tables and counter.
