With its tiki-lounge decor and sweet, fruity cocktails, this Carroll Gardens bar smartly references the past, right down to an assortment of bowls of Goldfish crackers and a stock of such retro games as Connect Four and Operation. The bartenders are legendary for their tropical, highly alcoholic concoctions, many of which are on fire and some of which come in large vessels with straws enough for a group. But if Scorpion Bowls and Suffering Bastards aren't your taste, there's always Pabst Blue Ribbon, a steal at $2 a can.
