Before Instagram, fashion fans had to wait months for magazines or newspapers to publish runway shots to see new looks from their favorite designers. These days, of course, that’s all changed: fashion bloggers post coverage to social media immediately—and garner followings that rival those of the major fashion magazines. Just in time for New York Fashion Week (February 9–17), here are some of the influential Instagrammers you can count on to cover all the major shows. Occupation: Editor at large and creative consultant for Vogue Japan
A former editor at Vogue Italia and L’Uomo Vogue, this Milan-based fashion collector is known for her quirky fashion week getups and styling work for Vogue Japan. She maintains relationships with many designers, giving her front-row and behind-the-scenes access.

Occupation: Contributing editor, W; senior fashion editor, Vogue Japan
This jet-setting fashion editor’s penchant for color and visual perfection makes her a favorite of street-style photographers. Her covers and campaigns are as extravagant as her wardrobe.

Occupation: Director of fashion partnerships at Instagram
The former editor in chief of Lucky, Chen is as stylish as they come. The fashion-industry vet loves sharing photos of her shoes and bags—usually snapped from the back of an NYC cab.
Name: Danielle Bernstein of We Wore What
Occupation: Fashion blogger
This New York–based fashion blogger (who charges up to $15,000 for a sponsored Instagram post!) is renowned for her fondness of vintage items. Bernstein really seems to enjoy the perks of the lifestyle: being invited to basically every runway show and fashion party. She’s also launched her own fashion line.
Name: Acielle of Style du Monde
Occupation: Street-style photographer; contributor to Vogue.com and The New York Times
Style du Monde, run by first-name-only photographer Acielle, was one of the first websites to document street style in Belgium. Today Acielle photographs celebrities, models and attendees arriving at and leaving all the shows, including in New York City.
Name: Leonie Hanne of Ohh Couture
Occupation: Fashion and travel blogger
You’ll find lots of outfit posts on this fashion blogger’s Instagram, as well as magazine-worthy shots of handbags, food and travel destinations. Hanne has collaborated with the likes of Tory Burch on her Fashion Week ensembles.
Name:Camila Coelho
Occupation: Fashion and beauty blogger
The Brazilian beauty vlogger has parlayed her talents into a successful fashion blogging career partnering with the likes of Dior, Revolve and Louis Vuitton for fashion week featured content. Her ’grams consist mainly of her outfits, travels and front-row shots from Paris and New York Fashion Week. Cue the wanderlust.

Occupation: Fashion blogger and designer
One of the scene’s OGs, Ferragani has the chicest and most lust-worthy feed on Instagram. Her site The Blonde Salad was at the forefront of the outfit-blogging craze in 2009, which afforded her the chance to launch her own lifestyle brand.

Occupation:CNN Style TV host; Vanity Fair’s Man on the Street
The fashion journalist rubs elbows with the industry’s elite, attends runway shows and various galas, and is probably friends with every celebrity you like. Katy Perry, Kendall Jenner and Karlie Kloss are often on his feed.
Name: Scott Schuman of The Sartorialist
Occupation: Photographer and fashion blogger
The globe-trotting photographer parlayed his street-style shots of sharp-dressed men into something of an empire. He’s shot for GQ, Vogue Italia, Vogue Paris and Interview, and he’ll shoot you, too—if you’re at the peak of your fashion game and manage to catch his eye.
