10 Corso Como
Opened in September 2018, this Seaport District spot is the only US location of the Milan shop synonymous with high-end design. Equal parts art gallery, café-restaurant and clothing store, 10 Corso Como lets you get up close with some of Helmut Newton’s most famous photographs before you head into the gleaming boutique.

Bergdorf Goodman
The grande dame of New York department stores opened back in 1901, which means stars have been have been passing through these doors well before films were shot in color. Expect to see luxurious looks from Prada, Givenchy and Armani, and don’t miss the beaux arts jewelry salon, where you can ogle stunning baubles from Lorraine Schwartz, Verdura and Buccellati.

Kith
Sneakers have become the ultimate status symbol, and this born-in-NYC shop is where many brands make their most anticipated drops. It’s one of the few places you can find Yeezys in the wild (though they still sell out fast) as well as Kith’s coveted collaborations with Nike and Adidas.

Dover Street Market
The fashions at this shop are not for wallflowers. Patterns are bold, shapes are unexpected and styles can take an A-lister’s confidence to pull off. The store, owned by Japanese brand Comme des Garçons, stocks hard-to-find brands and unexpected designer collaborations (Valentino-designed Moncler cape coats, for one).

Kirna Zabête
This Soho boutique is a fever dream of a walk-in closet, with striped wood floors, funky chandeliers and cheeky neon signs. On the racks you’ll find Chloé and Givenchy alongside more eccentric labels such as Monse, known for asymmetrical pieces worn by many an established star.

Odin
This West Village men’s shop sells its own line of polished yet casual staples like slouchy pants and soft T-shirts. Browse the selection of Oliver Peoples sunglasses to complete your own avoiding-the-paparazzi look.

What Goes Around Comes Around
The buyers at this luxury vintage boutique are experts at sourcing pieces from pretty much every decade in the past century or so—the ’80s, the ’60s, even the 1920s—that are surprisingly on trend. The collection also includes timeless Chanel and Hermès handbags and plenty of worn-in, iconic Levi’s 501s.

Opening Ceremony
The tastemakers that run this Soho boutique have started trends by defying them since they opened the shop back in 2002. This isn’t just where celebs shop; it’s also where they design. The store has done exclusive collaborations with the likes of Chloe Sevigny as well as collections with Disney and even Garbage Pail Kids.

Supreme
This hot streetwear brand’s newest outpost in Williamsburg is more of an experience than a store. The back of the warehouse-like space is dominated by a skate bowl, frequented by pros who show off their skills using the brand’s boards. The shop is known for sought-after collabs with brands like Vans, North Face and Dr. Martens.

Barneys New York
Barneys sets the gold standard for New York City shopping—and not only because its Goyard boutique will emblazon your initials in gold on its signature totes. Barneys carries designer pieces you can only get in-store, like tracksuits from British streetwear label Heron Preston. Once you’re done browsing the racks, head to Fred’s on the ninth floor for a power lunch favored by the NYC elite.
