I want to give something back to the city that has been so generous to me over the years. This work is my interpretation of a regal West African figurehead, the Benin Bronze. It is a symbol of black strength, black endurance and black revival. My hope is that this image will provide inspiration, harmony and reassurance in a time when the world is in much need of restoration and healing.
