Italian American Museum
Housed in the former Banca Stabile—a bank with historical significance for the Italian immigrant community in New York City—this museum, born out of a staggeringly successful 1999 exhibition at the New-York Historical Society, is dedicated to celebrating and exploring the Italian-American experience.
Located in Manhattan's Little Italy, Capri Ristorante is a 130-seat shrine to the paradisical isle of Capri decorated in a throwback 1960s theme trimmed with blue-and-white accents, ceramic tiles and photos of icons like Jackie Onassis and Valentino strolling the island's cobbled streets.
