The Met's noted series The Atelier with Alina Cho, which explores the intersection of art and fashion, next welcomes fashion designer Vera Wang. Wang's fashion career began with the bridal industry nearly 30 years ago and now encompasses footwear, eyewear, fragrance, jewelry, china and crystal, silver and gifts, bedding, and fine papers. Wang is also the author of Vera Wang on Weddings. Prior to that she was a competitive figure skater, one of Vogue's youngest fashion editors at 23 and the head of Ralph Lauren's accessories team. Wang's conversation with Alina Cho will explore how her roles as athlete, editor, designer, businesswoman, philanthropist and mother have shaped her career and her life. Tickets, which include same-day admission to the museum, are required.
