As part of a long-running annual tradition, artists, activists and civic leaders come together at the Brooklyn Academy of Music for the City’s largest event commemorating Dr. King. Civil rights activist and founder of the Me Too movement Tarana Burke will be the keynote speaker, and there will also be music performances by Oddisee & Good Company and The Brooklyn Interdenominational Choir. Tickets for this free event are availble on a first-come, first-seated basis in the lobby of the Gilman Opera House starting at 8am.
