This year the Metropolitan Museum of Art celebrates the 100th anniversary of its Department of Asian Art with a yearlong program of 19 exhibitions and installations. In the fall, the museum presents this curated selection of archival photographs of galleries and installations that date from 1907 to 1945 and trace the changes in Asian art at the museum. Also on display will be a large timeline mounted on a wall showing images of the building and floor plans to help put these photos into context for viewers. For more information, visit metmuseum.org.
