On July 9, thousands of disabled New Yorkers are expected to gather at Union Square Park at 10am for the third annual Disability Pride Parade NYC. The parade will see disabled and non-disabled allies joining together to raise awareness, visibility and increase community building. The route will head north up Broadway beginning at 11am and will conclude at Madison Square Park with a festival of speakers and entertainment from noon to 3pm. The Mayor’s Office for People with Disabilities has partnered with NYC Disability Pride to help provide informational kiosks and vendors along the route.
