The Leslie-Lohman Museum of Gay and Lesbian Art reopens after an expansion of its main SoHo space with this major retrospective, featuring 250 works from a collection that spans half a century. The museum, founded by Charles Leslie and Fritz Lohman more than 30 years ago, is the first of its kind dedicated solely to LGBTQ art. This show marks the debut of the new north gallery, which doubles the museum’s exhibition space.
