The Frank Lloyd Wright building that the Solomon R. Guggenheim Museum calls home opened to the public on October 21, 1959. In honor of the sixtieth anniversary and the recent designation as a UNESCO World Heritage Site, the museum will have jazz, cupcakes, and more on October 21. Throughout October the museum features an enhanced schedule of public programming including tours, sketching workshops and film screenings.
