Every Tuesday, enjoy free admission to the Brooklyn Botanic Garden. Stop by on October 11 to admire the fall foliageand seasonal gardens. Visitors can also explore special exhibitions like Native New Yorkers, a garden-wide trail that highlights local floras (and the faunas that call them home); Natural History at the Brooklyn BotanicGarden, an installation by artist Patrick Dougherty, who weaved tree saplings together to create a structure that looks like it was plucked out of the film version of Where the Wild Things Are; and, in the Steinhardt Conservatory Gallery, artist Anders Knutsson's life-size portraits of trees.
