Since 1996, the Lincoln Center Festival has provided a showcase for the best in performing arts from around the world—including opera, chamber music, theater, multimedia performance, ballet, modern dance and multidisciplinary works. This year’s lineup features the North American premiere of Opening Skinner’s Box, a look at 10 famous psychological experiments as interpreted by British dance company Improbable; a rare New York City show from Brazilian percussionist Carlinhos Brown; George Balanchine’s Jewels, performed by three ballet companies; and a stage adaptation of the critically acclaimed novel To the End of the Land.
