Sisters Lee and Bessie haven’t spoken in 18 years. Lee is the single mom of a troubled young son, and Bessie is in charge of caring for the ladies’ elderly father and aunt. When Bessie is diagnosed with cancer, the siblings reunite to find out if they can let go of the past and blend their two families in time to make some good memories together. The moving and often emotional play has moments of humor sprinkled throughout that will keep audiences laughing, making for a more poignant production.
