Nari Ward has built a 25-year career out of scavenging items like cooking trays, baby strollers, shopping carts and other items that were tossed aside and making them into works of art. The Jamaican-born, Harlem-bred, extraordinarily influential sculptor takes these everyday items and repurposes them in surprising ways, with his most recent works addressing political and social concerns. In addition to his sculptures, expect paintings, videos and large-scale installations.
