This female Indian artist—often hailed as one of the most significant artists of her generation—focused on abstraction and modernism. This is the largest presentation of her work to date, including more than 130 drawings, photographs and paintings—and featuring her signature grids, organic lines and hard-edged forms. In addition to the art, this exhibition will feature a collection of essays by international scholars. For more information, visit metmuseum.org.
