New York Islanders Hockey

Barclays Center
620 Atlantic Ave.
Brooklyn, NY 11217

The Islanders marked the team's first season in Brooklyn (which, while within the boundaries of New York City, is geographically a part of Long Island) by winning their first playoff series in more than two decades. The team, led by young star John Tavares, has a fierce rivalry with the Manhattan-based Rangers—so get a ticket to one of those crosstown matchups if you want to see fans at their most enthusiastic. The Islanders’ home, Barclays Center, is easy to reach from Long Island via the LIRR and from anywhere in the City via the subway system.
