The Rangers and Sabres face off in one of the National Hockey League’s marquee events in Queens, at Citi Field—home of baseball’s New York Mets. Both teams play in New York State (the Rangers right here in our fair city) and have passionate fan bases, so it should be a fun way to celebrate New Year’s Day.
The NHL also plans to hold free events leading up to the game itself on January 1. Read on for details.
