The New York Philharmonic's annual weeklong tour of the City's parks brings free classical music concerts to all five boroughs, including Van Cortlandt Park in the Bronx (June 13), the Great Lawn in Central Park (June 14), Cunningham Park in Queens (June 15) and Prospect Park in Brooklyn (June 16). An indoor concert at Staten Island's Music Hall at Snug Harbor (June 18) ends the celebration. In 2017, the series serves as the finale to the Phil’s season-long New World Initiative; each concert features a performance of Dvořák’s New World Symphony.
