It has been almost a century since the introduction of small-gauge film stock in 1923 made home moviemaking affordable and accessible to the general public. Unfortunately many of these films were abandoned and unpreserved. This installation, which comprises one hundred screens, showcases homemade works from 1907-1991 that survived and were ultimately incorporated into MoMA's collection.
