Visit Decker Farm, located in Staten Island's Historic Richmond Town, to pick pumpkins on 10 open acres. You'll also have a chance to tour the grounds and buildings—started just over 200 years ago, Decker Farm is the oldest continuously operating small farm in New York City. (In 1955, the Decker family turned it over to the Staten Island Historical Society, which has maintained it as a museum farm). Farm animals, hayrides, face painting and the like add up to a full day of old-school family entertainment, a bargain at $6 a person. Park by the visitor's center of Historic Richmond Town, 441 Clarke Ave., and ride the free shuttle bus to the farm. For more information, visit historicrichmondtown.org.
