In memory of trailblazing journalist and legendary New Yorker, Tom Wolfe, the New York Public Library presents archival material from Wolfe’s literary career. The display includes notes from Wolfe’s interview with the Grateful Dead’s Jerry Garcia, an original letter from Hunter S. Thompson and the notebook Wolfe used to collect observations for one of his best known stories, "These Radical Chic Evenings." Wolfe was a frequent visitor to the library on 42nd and 5th Avenue, which will host this free exhibit on its third floor.
