River To River Festival

Each summer the River To River Festival takes over downtown Manhattan for 12 days of free performances, exhibitions and events. This year’s highlights include a multimedia opera about Robert Moses and Jane Jacobs, a concert by Amir ElSaffar & Rivers of Sound and open studios for artists throughout Lower Manhattan. There will also be a premiere of Harbored by En Garde Arts, a site-specific immigration-themed performance that touches on timely themes of the American Dream and the search for acceptance.
