Robert Rauschenberg: Among Friends features more than 250 paintings, sculptures, drawings, prints, photographs, and sound and video recordings from six decades of the artist’s career. Dubbed an “open monograph,” the exhibition layers in other artists at the point in time in which they entered Rauschenberg’s creative life. Among them: Merce Cunningham, Jasper Johns, Paul Taylor and Cy Twombly.
