This exhibit explores the usage of a variety of art forms -from speeches and pamplets to slave narratives, poetry and music - employed by enslaved people and their abolitionist allies to push for their right to freedom and equality. Although this was true across the Atlantic Slave Trade, this exhibit focuses on American and British efforts.
