This exhibit, the first to present work by a single artist other than Noguchi, is a site-specific installation for the museum's indoor-outdoor galleries. Comprised of a tea house within a garden, the piece includes all the elements and accessories necessary for chanoyu, the traditional Japanese tea ceremony. The exhibit is complemented by some of the large Noguchi basalt sculptures usually in these galleries. For more information, visit noguchi.org.
