Design critic Ralph Caplan, graphic designer Milton Glaser and architect Beverly Willis sit down at the Guggenheim to discuss the progression of design as a profession, and how it fits into modern-day social, ecological and service themes. The talk—moderated by designer, author, artist and educator Jessica Helfand—is in honor of the publication of the book Twenty Over Eighty: Conversations on a Lifetime in Architecture and Design, which groups together interviews with architecture and design icons over the age of 80. Following the conversation, there will be a book signing with the authors.
