Since 1998, the TimesTalks series has been a venue for discussion between writers from The New York Times and famed figures in politics, science, sports and the arts. This festival marks the 20th anniversary of the program’s launch with a host of bold-faced names over the course of a chatty weekend, including avant-garde musician and actress Grace Jones; Ladybird and Roseanne star Laurie Metcalf; artist Nan Goldin; journalist Katie Couric; and Oscar winner Denzel Washington. Times writers and reporters making an appearance include columnist Frank Bruni, White House correspondent Maggie Haberman and Megan Twohey, who co-authored the Times’ September 2017 expose on Harvey Weinstein.
