The New Museum—in keeping with its tradition of tackling current topics and controversies—presents this exhibition that explores the role of gender and how it interacts with race, class, sexuality and disability. The exhibition examines gender’s place in contemporary art, culture and our current political climate through the works of more than 40 artists in film, video, performance, sculpture, photography, painting and craft.
