The Anne Frank Center for Mutual Respect was founded in 1977 by Frank’s father, Otto, to preserve her legacy and spirit and convey her ideals to future generations, especially youth and adolescents. The organization serves as a learning center advocating tolerance and justice for all people and faiths, and it promotes nondiscrimination, nonviolence, freedom of expression and cultural exchange. The Center is a venue for learning and hosts presentations and forums as well as a museum, gallery and interactive exhibitions that allow visitors of all ages to understand Anne Frank's voice and profound message.
