Please note: this business is now closed; nycgo.com keeps record of many old and closed venues. From its whimsical chandelier to its exposed-brick walls to its department store-esque glass bar, which displays various souvenirs from Coney Island and other carnivals underneath, this popular dive is one step above the other low-key drinkers' bars in Prospect Heights. Owner Jesse Levitt, who cleverly named the bar after tarot card lingo, has also put tremendous thought into the décor: the shots are served in tiny boot glasses, the candles are always lit and, if you're lucky, the jukebox is available for you to virtually DJ your very own party (sadly, it was broken when we stopped by).
