Traditional Ethiopian food consists of meats, veggies and other prepared foods that are served on top of injera—a round, sour flatbread that has a thin pancake quality. Utensils are not needed, as the injera is used to scoop those meats or veggies and pop them into your mouth. It’s a very intimate experience, and true Ethiopians only use their right hand when eating, if you want to do it the traditional way. The restaurant also serves sambusas—fried dough with a savory filling.
