By day, Bar Beau is a fashionable spot for coffee, matcha and pastries. At night, the back room becomes a cocktail bar that serves savory bites like deviled eggs, burrata with parsley salsa verde and udon noodles with shiso leaf pesto. The intensely flavored lamb and dry-aged beef burger is another sure bet. Proprietor Claire Chan is also behind the cozy and popular Elk in the West Village.
