Extra Fancy's tongue-in-cheek name comes from the label of a condiment bottle, signaling the eatery's high and low aspirations. High in that the raw bar and seafood menu and extensive list of cocktails, wine, beer and cider are quite serious; low in that the hangout has a laid-back, rock 'n' roll vibe. Designed like a vintage clam shack and bar, it's Narragansett-meets-Brooklyn in style. This is the first restaurant from Mark Rancourt (Macao Trading Co.), partner David Brilliant and beverage director Robert Krueger (Employees Only).
