Located on the bustling corner of West Broadway and Grand Street in SoHo, this always-packed restaurant is beloved for its open-air feel, thanks to tons of windows and sidewalk dining when weather permits. Known for having a global—albeit mostly European—crowd, the bar and restaurant is the liveliest place to be for special events such as Bastille Day and the World Cup (they even have special prix-fixe menus for the festivities). On other days, however, it’s still a scene, thanks to a menu featuring everything from cheese and charcuterie plates to hanger steak and steamed mussels.
