Himalayan Yak is more than just an evocative restaurant name—this Tibetan and Nepalese restaurant gets fresh shipments of yak meat from a Vermont farm each summer. The yak meat is most often served as a shapta (platter meal) or as cheley (yak tongue served with bread). But even if you’re not yak-curious, the restaurant offers a wide array of regional curries, noodle dishes, dumplings and stews worth your time.
