Not much bigger than a food truck, My Cuban Spot turns out brilliant sandwiches—chef Louie Estrada, from Miami, knows exactly what he’s doing. The classic Cubano, layered with ham, pork, swiss cheese, pickles and mustard, is compressed to a thin, bronzed crispness. Also phenomenally satisfying: the steak sandwich with mayonnaise, sautéed onions, matchstick potatoes and melted swiss. The spot is mainly to-go; seating is minimal.
