The Usual is a contemporary restaurant where Louisiana-style fried chicken and two-patty burgers with American cheese, red onions and roasted garlic aioli are so killer they could become your…ahem, usual order. Executive chef Alvin Cailan, known for Eggslut in LA and a pop-up version of the same in NYC, has a way with lusty food people crave. Do branch out to try his yellowfin tuna tartare and octopus with pozole verde. Cailan’s brother assembled the impressive wine list.
