It's not uncommon to hear this Travis institution referred to as the home of Staten Island's best steak. It's a steakhouse of the old-school sort, where many of the regulars have been dining for decades, and a fair share of the staff have been working for more than 30 years. Opened in 1964, the surf and the turf come highly recommended, and even the lighter fare—sandwiches, salads and the like—are top quality. Expect classic steakhouse feel and decor, from the deep, dark wood floors and tables to the hunter-green walls.
