Wagamama first opened in London in April of 1992 with a clear purpose: to feed guests fresh and nourishing Asian food inspired by the flavors of Japan. Their 210 Fifth Avenue location is Wagamama’s first restaurant in New York City and feels like a natural next step in Wagamama’s growth, and it has a similar sensibility to its London outlet. Wagamama was among the first to offer communal table seating and continues to value a sense of community. Their food and juices are made in open kitchens, and the menu is fully customizable according to preference. The Fifth Avenue location offers a full bar and cocktail menu—another first for Wagamama.
