After meeting your guide and receiving your bike and helmet at a location on Central Park North, your bike tour begins. Cycle through Manhattan’s Harlem neighborhood, climbing uphill from the many churches near the Columbia University campus to the Croton Aqueduct Gate House, and then on toward Striver's Row, a historical district where many iconic Harlem personalities have lived.
From some of the higher elevation points, you'll have views of famous New York buildings. Also during your tour, see the historic Hamilton Heights district, including the Hamilton Grange National Memorial, which was physically moved and relocated three separate times. Travel past the famous Schomburg Center for Research in Black Culture, see the Harriet Tubman Memorial, and finally ride by the Masjid Malcolm Shabazz, a.k.a. the Malcolm X Mosque.
Then return to Central Park North to end your tour. Remember to bring your camera: there will be fantastic views of Central Park from these higher locations, and the historical architecture is beautiful.
