Holding court on Court Street since 1934, this Carroll Gardens establishment has quite a history: It opened before Prohibition started, closed during the ban and then opened again at its current location. After World War II, the store started selling spirits, and today it’s one of the oldest and most respected wine, beer and liquor emporiums in New York, even offering delivery to the Fire Island ferry during summer months.
