Pizza education is fun at this hands-on classroom, founded in 2010 by Mark and Jenny Bello. There’s lively instruction on sourcing the best ingredients, dough-stretching techniques (and tossing dough in the air like a pro), making sauce and combining toppings in creative ways. Four-hour weekend classes are popular for birthdays and team building, with a maximum capacity of 24. Students bake at least two pies each, with boxes provided for leftovers. A selection of craft beers, fine wines and specialty sodas are available to purchase for the pizza party at the end.
