From the opening concert by the Navy Band Northeast and Parade of Ships to the last boat leaving New York Harbor, Fleet Week, celebrating its 30th anniversary, offers members of the Navy and Marines the opportunity to experience NYC—and gives the public the chance to meet sailors on shore leave. You can tour Navy ships, watch military formations and see a special screening of Top Gun on the deck of the USS Intrepid. Many events are free and take place across the City’s harbors.
