May kicks off with Jessica Walter in Conversation with Jessica Shaw (May 1) to discuss her career beyond Arrested Development. On May 2, Joyce Antler joins Ruth Messinger to discuss Jewish feminism, and on the same day, screenwriters Christopher Markus & Stephen McFeely discuss their work on the Avengers and Captain America franchises. On May 7, Craig Ferguson joins Kathie Lee Gifford to discuss his new memoir and long career from How to Train Your Dragon to The Late Late Show. May 13 showcases the cross-section of genre's that 92Y celebrates with: Eve Ensler in conversation with Glenn Close to discuss Ensler's new book The Apology, Rachel Kushner and Tommy Orange in discussion about their new titles and a conversation with and performance by the team behind Be More Chill. Finally, the month closes with Joe Namath (May 21) celebrating the fiftieth anniversary of his Super Bowl "guarantee" and new memoir All the Way: My Life in Four Quarters, and artist Christo discussing his life with Jeanne-Claude and the documentary about his new project (May 22).
