Raghubir Singh is known for his color street photography. Although he lived in Hong Kong, Paris, London and New York, his lifelong focus was his native India where he examined the intersection of traditional South Asia and Western modernism. This installation will juxtapose nearly one hundred of Singh's photographs alongside the works of his contemporaries and examples of Indian court paintings which inspired him.
