Step inside the fashion empire—and creative process—of American designer Anna Sui. Born in Detroit, and educated and discovered in NYC, the mogul has built a well-respected brand over the last 30 years. In the early ’90s, she became known for her signature grunge and rock ’n’ roll aesthetic, often creating narratives in her designs through the use of music, books, photography and art movements. The Museum of Arts and Design’s exhibition features more than 100 looks from Sui’s archives.
